Superintendent representatives from each of the eight regions made brief Ted Talk-like presentations during the VASS Annual Spring Conference on what motivates them to do their challenging jobs on a daily basis.  The inspiring five-minute Ignite Presentations were given throughout the conference to reinvigorate superintendents' enthusiasm for their jobs.  The presenters were:

• Region I - Marcus J. Newsome, Division Superintendent, Petersburg
• Region II - Aaron C. Spence, Division Superintendent, Virginia Beach
• Region III - Walter (“Rick”) Clemons, Division Superintendent, Gloucester County
• Region IV - David C. Jeck, Division Superintendent, Fauquier County
• Region V - Pamela R. Moran, Division Superintendent, Albemarle County
• Region VI - William (“Bill”) Sroufe, Division Superintendent, Patrick County
• Region VII - Keith Perrigan, Division Superintendent, Bristol City
• Region VIII - Jack McKinley, Division Superintendent, Amelia County
