VASS 2019 Annual Spring Conference - General Information for Business Members

Superintendents from all Virginia public school divisions as well as VASS Business Members are invited to attend the VASS Annual Spring Conference.
The 2019 VASS Spring Conference, which will be held May 5-7, 2019, at the Hotel Roanoke, will provide excellent opportunities to build relationships with current and future clients. Business Representatives are encouraged to participate in presentation and break-out sessions, as well as all social events, in order to network with Virginia’s Superintendents.
VASS Business Members who wish to participate in the VASS Annual Spring Conference have four options for doing so:
- Business Affiliate Representative (Level 1) ($500 annual dues + $800 fee for each representative)
- Exhibitor (Level 2) ($2,000 fee) (includes $500 annual dues + one complimentary representative)
- Sponsor (Level 3) ($2,500 fee) (includes $500 annual dues + two complimentary representatives)
- Partner (Levels 4-7) (annual partnership dues) (includes Exhibition Booth and complimentary representatives)
The VASS 2019 Spring Conference Program has been finalized for the printer, so we are no longer able to accept additional Exhibitors or Sponsors for this year’s event.
However, we still welcome registrations from representatives of VASS Business Affiliate Members who wish to participate in this year’s VASS Spring Conference.
If your company wishes to join VASS, so you can have one or more of your representatives attend the 2019 Spring Conference, please see the information and registration form below.
Once you have submitted your registration as a VASS Business Affiliate Member for 2019-2020, using the link to the registration form provided in the BOX BELOW, you will be sent an invoice for the $500 in annual dues.
You can use the registration form BELOW to register each of your representatives who wish to attend the Spring Conference (for a separate registration fee of $800).

VASS Business Affiliate Members may participate in any VASS event as one of the benefits of their $500 annual membership fee.
Since most current business memberships expire before this year’s Spring Conference, the first step in order for representatives from your business to attend the 2019 VASS Spring Conference is to register your organization as a Business Affiliate Member.
Once your business has been registered as a VASS Business Affiliate Member, you will receive an invoice, via email, for the $500 annual membership dues.
The next step in signing up to participate in this year’s VASS Spring Conference is to register any representatives who wish to attend the VASS Spring Conference.
The Registration Fee for Representatives of VASS Business Affiliate Members to attend the VASS Annual Spring Conference is $800 per representative.
The deadline for registering representatives is Friday, April 26.
In the Business Affiliate Members Representative Registration Form (below), required fields are indicated with a red asterisk. Mistakes made in completing the form will be highlighted in red.
Once you have submitted the registration, the person or people whom you have designated to receive a confirmation email should see that email (with registration information included) within 24 hours.
If you would like to pay now by credit card or PayPal, you will be provided with a link to the VASS online payment portal after you submit your registration.
If you do not pay by credit card at registration, the person on the registration form whom you have identified as the billing contact will receive an invoice for payment via email, and will be asked to submit payment before the conference is held.
If a purchase order number is provided on the registration form, it will be referenced on the invoice.
Notice of cancellation must be sent by email to Liza Scallet, the VASS Administrative Assistant, by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26 . . . or you will be billed in full.
