The Virginia Association of School Superintendents provides our Business Members with the opportunity to become more involved in supporting VASS by sponsoring a speaker or event at our Annual Spring Conference.

Sponsors at the VASS Spring Conference gain great exposure to Superintendents from all Virginia public school divisions through their interactions at various presentations and break-out sessions during the conference.

Representatives of Sponsors are also encouraged to take advantage of the wealth of networking opportunities provided by all of the meals, receptions, and other social activities during the Spring Conference.

Fee for Sponsors

The fee for Sponsorship of the VASS Spring Conference (Level Three of VASS Business Membership) is $2,500.

This fee INCLUDES the $500 annual dues for Business Affiliate Membership--a requirement for participation in VASS events. The membership runs for a full calendar year. 

Benefits for Sponsors

Sponsors (Level Three of VASS Business Membership) receive the following benefits:

• Sponsor Membership in VASS for one calendar year, which includes the following:
  • Eligibility to participate in VASS events 
  • Opportunity to meet Virginia's school division leaders at VASS events
  • Contact information for Sponsor Representatives provided to Superintendents who attend the Spring Conference
  • Listing in Buyer’s Guide on VASS website
• Recognition of Sponsor’s Representatives prior to the sponsored speaker, session, or event (PowerPoint slide of logo)
• Opportunity to place promotional materials at the tables of conference participants or on the VASS registration table
• Complimentary full-page advertisement in Spring Conference Program
• Recognition of specific sponsorship in Spring Conference Program
• Recognition of Sponsor’s support and printing of company logo in Conference Program
• TWO complimentary registrations for Sponsor’s Representatives to attend the Spring Conference
• Provision to superintendents of Contact Information for Sponsor’s Representatives
• Contact information of Superintendents who attend the conference

Exhibition Booth for Sponsors

A sponsor can also choose to ADD an Exhibition Booth (along with one additional complimentary representative) at the Spring Conference for an additional fee of $1,250 (a savings of $750 on the standard Exhibitor Fee).

Sponsor Representatives

Your Sponsorship Fee includes TWO complimentary registrations for Representatives of your company to attend the Spring Conference.

Sponsor Representatives are encouraged to participate (at no additional cost) in all meals, receptions, conference presentations and break-out sessions, as well as all social activities, since these events will provide excellent opportunities for networking with superintendents and other conference attendees.

The following benefits for TWO Representatives are INCLUDED in the $2,500 Sponsor Fee:

• Breakfast Buffets on Monday and Tuesday and Luncheon Buffet on Monday
• Evening Activities on Sunday and Monday
• Participation in all conference sessions and social events (with the exception of a fee for Representatives who wish to participate in the Sunday Golf Tournament)

If you wish to have more than two representatives attend the conference, you are welcome to do so. Each additional representative will be charged $600.

Once you have submitted your registration as a Sponsor (or a Sponsor AND Exhibitor), the person identified as the primary company contact on the registration form will receive an email with a link to register your representatives.
